Chaplain leads Creative Ministry
The new Chaplain and Director of Creative Arts for the 2013-2014 school year is Daniel A. Williams. As a third-generation PFA graduate, Chaplain Williams is elated to give back to the school that he credits with transforming his life. When recounting his experiences as a student, he eagerly describes it as “one of the BEST things that ever happened to me. I don’t know where I would be today if God had not blessed me with the PFA experience.” Beyond merely developing his academic capacity, He relishes the very fond memories of singing with the choir, discovering some hidden talents with Creative Arts, and most importantly, developing his own personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Since his graduation from Oakwood University, Chaplain Williams has been actively involved in the ministry of teaching, discipling, and using creative forms of ministry to spread the gospel everywhere he has had an opportunity.
On a recent Creative Arts trip, he and the students had an opportunity to minister to the homeless with food and clothing in downtown Washington, DC. Another opportunity allowed the students to minister to a young cancer patient and his supporters while on the streets of Annapolis, MD.
His goal for 2013-2014 school year is to facilitate a spiritual environment where each student develops, maintains, and expands their personal relationship with Jesus Christ by actively helping those in need.
With an immense passion for domestic and foreign missionary work, he is determined to mobilize Pine Forge Academy’s student body to take better advantage of opportunities for ministry and service.
He is married to the lovely Candice Caesar Williams, who has always been his support/partner in ministry and together they have 3 wonderful children. If you ask him his favorite verse, he will tell you, “For nothing is impossible with God” Luke 1:37. And that he truly believes with all of his heart. Prayerfully, he is expecting his limitless God to do great things this year and in the years to come.
