Rotary is an international organization of business and professional people with distinguished clubs in various countries. When one joins Rotary, he/she becomes a part of a worldwide fraternity. You can travel throughout most of the world and find a Rotary club within easy distance. Rotarians welcome you warmly, even though the language may be different, the food unusual, and the location far from home.
The object of Rotary is to embolden and cultivate the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and in particular, to encourage and foster: First: The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service; Second: High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying by each Rotarian of his occupation as an opportunity to serve society; Third: The application of the quintessential service by every Rotarian to his personal, business and community life. Fourth: The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a worldwide fellowship of business and professional persons united in consummate service practices.
As Development Officer of Pine Forge Academy, Jordan networks with an array of business entities. While attending a marketing affair on behalf of the Academy, the connection to further construct partnerships within Berks County and beyond emerged. Subsequently, there was an exchange between McCarthy and Jordan relative to ethics, missions and values. Consequently, they found the mission of the Academy to align with the mission and values of the Rotary Club thus creating a path to a lifelong community partnership. The development of this partnership allowed Pine Forge Academy Senior, Celine Sylvester to participate in and receive 2nd place recognition for her outstanding performance in the Pottstown Rotary Performing Arts Competition.
Congratulations Rotarian Jordan on yet another professional-business milestone you’ve embarked upon.
