Disciplinary Purpose and Application
The Academy reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of behavior
and to discipline accordingly.
- The primary purpose of disciplinary sanction is to:
- Aid in positive behavioral changes
- Express the concern for the student's inappropriate behavior.
- If the student's behavior is such that a faculty/staff member deems it necessary to give four or more disciplinary points for a specific act, there should be a waiting period of 24 hours and there should be a conference with the student before issuing the points (other than those infractions that warrant automatic severe penalties).
- The Academy reserves the right to require the withdrawal of any student at any time for any reason deemed sufficient to do so.
