Government
American Government course is designed to provide upperclassmen the understanding of the political structure (history) of governmental systems, political parties, and the operation of government–local, state, and federal level, as well as how the voter population impacts domestic and foreign policies. Additionally, the course will supplement information about African Americans and the impact of both domestic and foreign policy on its community.

US History
American history course is designed to provide content knowledge on the nuances of certain political movements, events, people, places, and the variances of people’s perspectives, roles, and actions that have/do impact the nation. Additionally, the course supplements African American history within subject context in order to promote and enhance consciousness regarding the history of African Americans in this country.
