Nicole Hughes

FalconerA native of Hartford, Connecticut, Nicole Hughes serves as Headmistress/Principal. She comes to us from the Foundation Collegiate Academy Charter School with four years of experience as a Founding Principal and Senior Manager.

Prior to coming to Pine Forge Academy, Mrs. Hughes served as an educator for six years at Frederick Douglass Academy VII in Brooklyn, New York. During that time, she served as History Chairperson, Principal Intern, Teacher-Leader, Coordinator of Student Activities, and Curriculum Writer. She attended Yale University as an undergraduate and matriculated to Pace University and Columbia University to earn advanced degrees. Mrs. Hughes is currently a doctoral student at Teachers College, Columbia University.

In 2014, Mrs. Hughes accepted the call to join the team at Pine Forge Academy with the hope of advancing the mission of Pine Forge Academy. Her principal plan can be found on the school website.
