SPARKS: Motivational Monday

Written By Patrick Jones (Class of 2016)

On Monday, November 9, 2015, Pine Forge Academy had the pleasure of having Phillip Sullivan speak with the student body. Presently, Sullivan serves as an assistant coach at Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, Maryland.

As the students of PFA attentively sat and listened to the life lessons shared by Sullivan, he reinforced the importance of receiving a solid, educational foundation and developing a personal relationship with God. Sullivan attributes his success to his parents and Adventist teachers. He also noted the three C’s in life where it all began for him. Choice, Chance, and Change.

Growing up in Bermuda, he was gifted with noteworthy athletic abilities leading to a stardom career, but because of his love for Christ and his Seventh-day Adventist faith, he chose a career path wherein his soul salvation would not be compromised. When God is maximized and your faith is exercised, He’ll see you through time and time again!

We thank Lisa Marshall, Head Dean of Kimbrough Hall, for extending the invitation to Mr. Sullivan.
