Remembering Nelson Mandela

PFA administration, faculty, staff, and students pause to acknowledge and celebrate the life and death of Nelson (Madiba) Mandela. On Friday, December 6, 2013 students lined the hallway as the Principal shared with them a brief history of the man who “no longer belongs to us, but belongs to the ages.” This was followed by a moment of silence and then prayer by Mr. Armondi Stokes-Hicks (President, United Student Movement), Mr. Edward Bryant (Chair, History Department) and Mr. Daniel Williams (Chaplain).  The flag was raised to half-mast as the student body sang the black National Anthem.
